8/13/2023 0 Comments Hans and franz blackrockGlyph of Cleave is too good to pass up in any sort of cleave/AoE fight. Glyph of Unending Rage is going to be your bread and butter for tanking glyphs, I only remove this for Glyph of Death From if I’m really trying to maximize my AoE dps. Using Heavy Repercussions will let you have the most available rage for defense but deals a bit less damage especially on AoE fights. Gladiators resolve is going to be a defensive increase on almost every encounter but deals zero damage, there are some fights where it can be especially useful. I also recommend using the Enraged Regeneration talent for the level 30 tier. I prefer Double Time and Vigilance for most encounters. Your level 15 and 75 talents are a personal choice for your play style. This data was created using logic/common sense, and information gathered on Tank Survivability and Tank Damage rankings from I think our guild may take a look at Blast Furnace, and if it gives us a lot of problems we'll hit Darmac and Hans/Franz first to gear a bit then backtrack to take out BF.Protection Warrior Talent and Glyph Guide for Blackrock Foundry. You do Blast Furnace third, I'm guessing in order to get tier faster. Thank you for your thoughts, that was exactly what I was looking for! I'm wondering, for our more casual guild, I might change your order. Finally, we'll head up to the Crucible, and take out Blackhand. Finally, we'll head up to the Crucible, and take out Blackhand.ĥ. Heading back to the Iron Assembly, we'll do Thogar -> Iron Maidensĥ. We'll then head to the Black Forge, and take out Hanz/Franz -> Ka'graz -> KromogĤ. We'll take a quick detour after this over to the Iron Assembly, and take out Beastlord Darmac.ģ. Start in the Slagworks, we'll go Gruul -> Oregorger -> Blast FurnaceĢ. I'm sure things will change, but for now this is my guild's planned route through BRF:ġ. It's easy to say though that he will definitely be a very very hard last boss. ![]() ![]() The fight takes places in like 3 different boss rooms, and I do remember one guild managing to abuse some tuning issues with a few select pieces of gear and making it to phase 4 with about half their team dead. The beta testing was really inconclusive, as only a few guilds got past phase 1 of 4. It's really hard to say what the Blackhand fight will be. They are going to be very hard, but at least their loot table reflects their difficulty. On top of that, you have to coordinate teams of players to zip line over to a nearby ship to handle business over there as well. The space to fight them is rather constrained, and that little space is filled with bad stuff 24/7. I imagine Spine of Deathwing levels of penultimate boss pain coming from this boss. Definitely a really tough boss that should be saved for later. Dodging trains, continuous waves of enemies pouring into the room, then actually trying to kill Tho'gar himself. For being the 2nd boss of the wing, he looks harder than Kromog. Operator Tho'gar looks insanely awesome. It looks pretty simple and straightforward. The meter padders are going to have a lot of fun on this fight I think. Beastlord Darmac looks like a fairly stationary (at least by today's standards) encounter that is a continuous cleavefest. ![]() He's the 2nd easiest "last boss" of a wing I'd say. Tuning looked really tough on this fight. Classes with a combination of slow fall/damage cheesing mechanics (Mages, Hunters, Shadow Priests, Rogues and Warlocks maybe too), will definitely help on this encounter with having to kill fewer grasping hands. Kromog is definitely an interesting fight. Lots of AoE damage in this fight for healers to handle. If your raid can handle kiting them (they fixate on random members), I don't think it will be too terrible. Flamebender Ka'graz looks like a solid fight where kiting the dogs and handling the lava chains between them all is going to be one of your big issues. They are still the lowest tuned boss in the Black Forge wing, however (on beta anyway). Picture the Blackfuse belts, but it's the whole room. Hanz/Franz I fear is going to be a fight where you are going to class stack Hunters, as there is an ass ton of moving during the encounter. Of the "final bosses" in each wing, it still looks the easiest, however. You have to break your raid up into smaller teams to handle a bunch of little mechanics happening all over the room at once. Blast Furnace is a fight that requires a lot of coordination among your raid team. Oregorger doesn't look too bad in his phase 1, but phase 2 when he begins to roll around is where your guild will have difficulties navigating the maze and dealing with LoS problems. Looks very similar to a Butcher-styled fight with a few dodge mechanics thrown in. Gruul looks like a pretty simple fight to start with. Here's what I could make out from the testing I saw. I didn't do any beta raid testing, but I did watch a fair amount of beta testing via Twitch streams.
